Ever since I was a young boy I have been passionate about all types of Flora and Fauna. On leaving the Royal Marines I re qualified as a Tree Surgeon. I was lucky enough to do my training at Plumpton College in the heart of Sussex; one of the leading authorities in Arboriculture. I achieved all the necessary qualification (NPTC) Tree climbing, Dismantling, Felling and Crosscutting. I also hold qualifications in pesticide use and plant and soil biology. Over the years I have undertaken all aspects of Tree work, some of which have been small and some of which have been massive. I pride myself on my work and ability to carry out every job in a safe, professional and effective manner.

I have spent my life working in the Tree Surgery and garden clearance/maintenance Industry, starting at a young age with a large firm learning hands on all the important aspects of the business. Through the years I have been involved in many different jobs of all varieties. It is this variation and the challenges that we face on a daily basis that I love and thrive upon. Phil Smith (Arborist) and I met whilst both working for another company many years ago. We found we both worked very professionally and efficiently so I formed my own Company - Cutting Edge Tree & Gardening Services in June 2007. From that time we have never looked back growing from strength to strength. Looking to the future we hope to eventually offer even more Arboricultural and Horticultural Services.
